The Challenge
The client was wanted a complete and effective all-round marketing strategy (both offline and online) for the autoresponder software. The second phase of the project was, therefore primarily aimed at this. Deliverables of this phase included:
- A Flash presentation: typical marketing type to be integrated with the website to give a complete view of the auto responder software and its benefits
- 3 classified ads for newspaper
- A sales letter: for selling the auto responder software, highlighting the USPs of the software and the trial version
- Sales brochure (both offline and online): containing the features of software at seminars
- A POS document- for business to use to get client details
- Two order forms (online and offline) for trial purchase: for trial purchase of the software
- A phone script: to guide businesses using the software to get client details
- A sales doc: which prospects can use for directly purchasing the software
The client had substantial plans regarding the salability of the software hence wanted the marketing materials to be as enticing as possible.
Our endeavor
Being already a part of the endeavor, the content writing department at SynapseInteractive was well acquainted with the business plans of the client and the portrayal he wanted. Based on this experience, the team started working upon the sales materials.
The team had comprehensive experience in Flash presentations, sales letters, sales brochures, but newspaper ads were an entirely new venture. Here lied the challenge. The team first started working with the newspaper ads. A number of ads were visualized and made, each with different levels of tones and dynamism. Each ad was thoroughly tested in-house to judge their effectiveness and the best three were finalized and passed on to the client. Once the client confirmed the ads, the team started working on the Flash presentation. Here the challenge was to incorporate a huge lot of information in a one minute-Flash presentation, that too in a readable format. The team first developed a set of content for the presentation and thoroughly tested it in-house, and finally picked the best one for the final incorporation into the Flash. A similar approach was applied for the remaining sales materials (i.e. flash presentation, sales letter, sales brochure, POS document, etc.).
The Result Each of the sales materials were accurately envisioned, developed, and formatted so that the client could put his best foot forward with this marketing endeavor. Every effort was taken by the team so that each sales material could portray the added benefits of the autoresponder software, why it was different from those commonly available, and what customers would miss if they did not buy the software. The help rendered by the client is to be specially mentioned…not only he was very skillful in portraying what he wanted, he was also responsive to the teams queries and worked side by side with Synapse Interactive to ensure that project never deviated from what the client had envisioned.
