The Challenge
The client is a US based online marketing company focused on delivering superior results to its pay-for-performance customers through a proprietary technology that embodies highly scientific, algorithmic approaches. In a special endeavor, the client wanted to start offering career information through one of his websites. Each page of the entire website would be dedicated to a particular career, responsibilities, educational requirements, job outlook, earnings, etc. The client had a grand start in mind for which he wanted to offer information on almost all sought after careers. For this, he was seeking the help of SEO copywriting services for assistance with some Education and Real Estate Finance web properties. The client sent his requirements to a number of copywriting service providers across the world, including India and asked for samples and quotations. The project was finally awarded to SynapseInteractive solely due to the quality of samples provided.
The Response
SEO copywriting is a field in which SynapseInteractive has been working on for quite some time. However, the uniqueness of this particular project lied in the complexity involved in finding authentic career information. Each career page had to be written in different styles and tones depending on the age group and maturity levels of the target audience. The team embarked upon the project by performing a comprehensive research on the web to find sources that provided detailed information on various career fields about which the client intended to provide information. All the locations were then collected in a database, which was then categorized based on the guidelines set by the client. The information was then sorted out according to the guidelines. Each career page, e.g. a career in culinary arts, started with an overview of the job as a career, responsibilities of culinary arts specialists, educational qualifications required to find employment in this industry, colleges, institutes offering degree/diploma and short term courses in culinary arts, job prospects currently available and also expected in the coming years, and salary information. The help rendered by the client, in terms of providing references, was commendable. To maintain quality and authenticity, information were compared and verified from one or more locations before being put. The client supplied the keywords, which had to be incorporated in the content, so that the website would get good visibility in search engines. Another important aspect of the project was the short turn-around times, which had to be complied with irrespective of the complexity and bulkiness of the task. The Result
The contract was for 50 articles on education and mortgage. The client played a major part in the success of the project though his detailed instructions. Each request that he sent had comprehensive details on the title, the questions to which the article should be an answer, the primary and secondary keywords that had to be focused on, the tone/level of the writing, the target audience, and even the length.
