It seems there isn’t going to be any more respite in the amount of changes in the coming months, from Google, as the tech-giant has now released its new “Inside Search” that lays out additional changes to be used for cleaning up Internet Search. Though the company just last month brought to selves a significant change to their algorithm that aimed at the freshness of information on the web, with the latest update it wants to carry out some more clean-up work in the web world.
A new post in Google’s blog says that today we are introducing another list of updates, starting a monthly series where we will be able to share more than earlier details, or information about the algorithm and feature augmentations made by us on a near-daily basis. The blog post further tells that a new “parked domain” classifier is to be utilized to sort out domain names that are inactive, but live, parked, and are existing only to render ads to visitors generating clicks as well as profits for their owners, but minimum amount of benefit for users.
Google’s last month update (Panda) primarily targeted content and brands that resulted out huge reactions from various SEO companies & webmasters, as well as affected about 12 percent of all search engine results.
However, the latest stand will be targeting scraper sites that are copies of those websites built by stealing content from other article scrapers or publishers. These sites have been a major headache for Google, as a few websites’ owners could be removed from search, when the rogue users copy their work or pilfer their content. Google will be using all these new techniques in order that the right publishers of content can receive their deserved traffic.
Some tech-pundits criticize this new stand of Google saying that these new changes would cause harm to the domain industry as there is no value of a whole given keyword driven domains when they stop appearing in search. Although type-in traffic goes to browser tool bars and more people fall back on Google.com to discover what they require, it’s quite clear that the owners of domain name will have to be fully focused on quality content with a view to earning money from those clicks.
