California, May 20, 2010 - An iPhone patent related to creation of device-to-device workflow system was approved on April 1st, 2010. Apple holds expertise in connecting and synchronizing multiple devices and holds patent for the same. A latest patent indicates the probability of device-level integration of the popular social media website Facebook with iPhone. This new patent hints at the possibility of Facebook being integrated with iPhone OS.

With this technology, the both Facebook and iPhone would automatically get in sync and update themselves when one of them comes in communication with the other. If you add a new friend in your phone contact book, it would automatically find the friend on Facebook and let you add the person as your Facebook friend. It would do so by collecting vCard information of your friend along with a photo of to add to your phone book.

With this technology, multiple related tasks can be done with a single command that would require a series of actions otherwise. This integration also indicates to the faith that Apple’s bestows on Facebook as a popular social networking platform.
