San Francisco, 10 February 2010 - Google Buzz - a social networking platform working in collaboration with Gmail, is available for all who like to share and collaborate. Available for users from 9th February, Google Buzz, makes it easy for its users to send emails, chat and also share other information about themselves, all from a single interface – Gmail.
Gmail, which started out as an emailing service and later began to offer in-built text and video chat option, now becomes a one-stop social networking platform. With this launch, Google has proven that it wants to stay abreast with the growing need of social communication that includes sharing of photos, videos, live updates, comments etc.
Google Buzz will allow its users to connect with other services like Picasa, Flickr, Google Reader, and Twitter.
Google Buzz gives you the option to select those users whose updates are of interest to you and ‘follow’ them. It also recommends users you might be interested in following. The service, also available on mobile phone, lets you send out updates on the move.
With no installations involved, this new feature will be available to all Gmail users in next few days.
